About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions using AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and other AWS tools.
- Data Modeling: Implement effective data models and architectures for structured and unstructured data using SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Data Processing: Leverage Apache Spark to process and transform large-scale datasets efficiently.
- AWS Integration: Build, deploy, and maintain serverless data solutions using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
- Data Governance: Implement best practices for data quality, monitoring, and security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and reliability of data pipelines and workflows.
Required Skills:
- Programming: Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
- Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Big Data Frameworks: Experience with Apache Spark for data processing.
- AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, and other related AWS services.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proven ability to handle and process large volumes of data efficiently.
- Experience in optimizing data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
